The Entrepreneur of the Year Award is presented annually by the Ängelholm Entrepreneurs Association. Ahead of this year’s awards ceremony, Balustradedesign has been named one of three finalists in the running for the award.
The award is presented to an entrepreneur who has made a significant contribution to their community and who, through their conduct, serves as a role model for other entrepreneurs.
“It’s obviously extremely exciting to once again be recognized for the successes we’ve had. 2015 was an absolutely fantastic year for us, and I suppose that might be the reason we made it to the finals,” says Andreas Wedberg, one of the nominated entrepreneurs.
Balustradedesign The company experienced strong growth in 2015, with revenue increasing by more than 70%. The company’s earnings also remain positive. The number of employees has increased, averaging 20 during the year.
“Every time you receive recognition like this, it makes you proud as an entrepreneur. Being able to serve as a role model and perhaps inspire others is incredibly rewarding,” says André Svensson, the second nominated entrepreneur.
The winner will be announced at the annual Business Days event at Lindab Arena on May 13. The other nominees are the entrepreneurs behind ICA Arons in Hjärnarp and Knobby Shop AB. In 2012, Balustradedesign won the “Entrepreneur of the Year in Ängelholm, Erik Paulsson Scholarship” award.
