Glass railing for a balcony in a coastal location
In this project, a Forma-model glass railing—formerly known as Alu Classic—was used. The railing consists of white-painted aluminum posts and clear, laminated safety glass. This combination provides a subtle frame for the balcony without obstructing the view of the ocean.
Choosing a glass railing is a common choice for high-rise balconies where both safety and openness are important factors.

A railing that preserves the view and natural light
The clear glass offers an unobstructed view of the treetops and the sea, and the top rail in the same color enhances the overall look without drawing attention to itself. This makes the railing particularly well-suited for balconies where the view is the main attraction.

Approved for drop height
Forma is manufactured at our factory in Ängelholm, where the manufacturing process is certified by RISE in accordance with EN 1090-1. This ensures traceable materials, documented quality control, and the proper technical documentation for the selected product. The glass is laminated and secured with clamps, making it easy to replace individual panes as needed.
The posts are mounted on top of the balcony floor with hidden screws—a mounting method that provides both stability and a clean look.
Maintenance-free and weather-resistant material
Powder-coated aluminum is a maintenance-free material that resists salt, UV light, and moisture. This makes the railing suitable even for coastal or weather-exposed locations. Cleaning requires only water and a soft cloth—no sanding or painting is needed.
