Balustrade Store Building a larger facility!

Today, September 20, 2018, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for Räckesbutiken's new facility!

With an ever-increasing number of orders for glass railings and handrails, and a growing organization, our current facilities are starting to feel too cramped. The company’s management has worked hard to find the best option, and the result was the addition and renovation of a facility just a stone’s throw from our current location on the outskirts of Ängelholm in Skåne.

Räckesbutiken founders Andreas Wedberg and André Svensson were happy and excited as they broke ground to mark the start of this important step forward for the company.

In the photo, Andreas and André are flanked by Linda Leeman of Leeman & Olsson, the property owner and landlord, and Martin Dahlberg, a foreman at Leeman Entreprenad, which is managing the construction project.

André, who is also the in-house project manager for the new construction, talks about the new opportunities that the new facility will open up:

• We’re really cramped right now, both in the office and in production, which makes many steps in the manufacturing process cumbersome and inefficient. Once we have more space, each workstation will run more smoothly! We’ll also take the opportunity to review all our procedures and invest in new machines that automate the handling of both glass and posts.

And Andreas, who is in charge of business development, adds:

• Balustrade Store we’ll have the resources we need to continue growing with increased volume, more staff, and more products. The groundbreaking ceremony was exciting. Now we’re truly on our way to the next stage in the company’s development.

The construction project will take about a year, so we’ll be moving in during the fall of 2019. We’re already looking forward to it!
