Railing with an unobstructed view of the valley
In this project, a post-free glass railing has been installed atop a natural stone retaining wall, which frames a lush garden with varying levels. The railing is designed to provide fall protection without obstructing the view of the valley—a solution that fits perfectly in environments where the landscape, views, and openness are prioritized.
The installation uses surface-mounted aluminum profiles that are fastened directly to the wall. The glass itself is laminated safety glass, without mullions or transoms, creating an unbroken line along the entire edge.
