When we launched our new website, our plan was also to obtain the Trygg e-handel certification, and now that’s complete. The certification is designed to let consumers know that the store meets a number of established criteria, all of which are intended to ensure a safe e-commerce experience free of surprises.
In practice, this certification has meant that our purchasing terms and our financial status have been reviewed. This will also be monitored on an ongoing basis through random spot checks.
The certification is administered by the trade association Svensk Distanshandel (SDh).
