Instead, you'll see a clear indication specific to the exact railing configuration you're working with. This makes it easier to see if your choices are suitable for the intended location.
The Four Classes
This class summarizes the line load for which the current handrail configuration has been verified and the types of environments in which it is typically suitable.

One kilonewton per meter is roughly equivalent to 100 kilograms per running meter.
In areas where there is more foot traffic or where congestion may occur, the higher railing is required, even if it looks the same.
The class changes when you change
The application class is not tied solely to the product model. It applies to the complete configuration you build, where height, section width, mounting, and component selection all work together.
Railing height
A taller post provides a longer lever arm. With the same force, this can result in greater torque on the post and the mounting.
Section width
A longer span between the posts means that each section and attachment point must bear a greater portion of the load.

Impact tests on glass railings
For our glass railings, we conduct impact tests in accordance with the regulations of the Nordic Balcony Association, among other things. These tests are designed to ensure that the structure can withstand the stresses that may arise in real-world environments.

Where the railing includes glass, safety glass is used that is tailored to the design and location. This reduces the risk of injury if the glass is subjected to a strong impact.

The usage class is also specified in the email, so you have this information in writing in case a client, inspector, or association asks about it later.
Only complete railings
The class applies to the entire structure. Individual glass panels, fittings, and handrails are therefore not assigned their own service class.

What does Class C mean?
